Jacqui’s passion is inspiring others to live a happy, vibrant, and unexpected life. She believes that an inviting, well designed environment is a home that brings people together. There’s no better feeling than living in a space that inspires you!
Not just a designer, Jacqui is no stranger to a toolbox and a drill. A crafter, designer, painter, and all-around creative, she expresses that innate talent through the constant re-design of her own home as well as her clients. Her imaginative and innovative interpretations provide an inspired energy to all her spaces. Consider her your go-to guide to designing and living well!
As Founder and Chief-Executive-Designer of Finie, Jacqui has over 12 years experience creating and overseeing her clients’ interior design projects. After graduating from Sullivan College of Technology & Design with a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design, Jacqui designed both high end residential and commercial spaces with Tracee Dore Interiors, and Barry Wooley Designs. She shortly realized her design and styling aesthetic, both innovative and breathtaking, could, and should stand-alone. From conception to completion, she develops engaging residential and commercial concepts and designs, while ensuring each space and story is crafted through a unique perspective that leads each client on a storytelling pathway through each corner, hall, nook, and cranny.
Jacqui married her husband Sam in 2013, and is proud mom to daughter Charlotte Trent. This mother/daughter duo has mastered the art of entertaining a crowd with their juxtaposition of animated comical high jinks! Jacqui’s convoy also includes her free spirited Dachshund Daphne, who ushers charming and loveable charades during each appearance. Jacqui is Classic with a quirky twist! She loves coffee, traveling, entertaining, mother/daughter dates with her mini “Char,” and her “Chef” husbands creative homemade dinners. She grew up in the sunny South, and has always called Louisville, Kentucky her home.
